Lanni O'Grady Sells Jewelry at A Mall??

This is what I recently heard...that she sells handcrafted jewelry at one of those booths in the middle of a mall, somewhere in Southern California? Is this true?? Why doesn't she get back into acting instead? She can't be making much money doing that.

She did that a few years ago. I believe she married Dr. Jensen and works for him now in his psychotherapy practice in CA.

I have only just discovered this website 4 or 5 days ago.. I wish the internet and this site
was around back when the show was on the air. That would've been cool. :) Anyway, I was a
big fan of the show and my fave actress in it was Lani. So I am wondering if anyone reading
this knows how she is doing these days? I know about the panic attacks she had suffered from
and that she got help for it and is doing well that way. I haven't heard anything in the last
few years though. Also would love to know if there is an address to write to her or anything.
I met her back in 1980 and used to go see them filming. The "Bradford House" was actually a
house a mile away from me. It is since gone, I think. :( I have many happy memories connected
with this show, being a fan. Thanks again d.t for a wonderful website to
relive some of those memories. :)

Very concerned about this article in "Star" on Susan Richardson "crackin-up". It seems that this was an exclusive interview w/ photos, quote from Susan and all. I hope she's ok. I worked with her in an episode of the show as a kid and I'd really like to read her book if she ever follows through with it. Also...I was sorry to read the update on Lani that she is no longer acting. I took classes from her at a commercial workshop in Sylmar and she has really inspired me. I've gotten plenty of gigs after that and a couple of films. Is there any chance that she will be returning to acting? I wish I could return some of the inspiration she has given me. I wish both Lani and Susan well.

Hello! My favorite character of the show is Mary. Because she is knows what see wants to be a doctor. That is a hard job. My favorite episode is the one where she needs a place to study and then she moves back home and everyone helps her study. I hope that Lani is okay. I wish that they do another reunion of the show. In response to the last question about Lani O'Grady. I saw her about three years ago on Sally Jesse Raphael. She spoke at length about her troubles with panic attacks. Apparently, they were crippling and very painful for her growing up. The story, however has a happy ending. She found a wonderful doctor who, with the help of medication, has helped her live a more enjoyable life. I wonder how she is doing now? I would love to hear more. Thanks.

I saw her too on some show talking about how she got hooked on Xanax, and it was hell to get off those pills, but that she is now fine. I don't remember how long ago that was, but I think the show was Entertainment Tonight!

I heard it was valium..LOL...Either way, I think she is an incredibly brave human being and I greatly admire her strength to come forward and share her story with us. So many others who suffered with these disabilities can find inspiration in Lani's success story. She is a lovely rolemodel. Thanks Lani!!

Actually, it was Xanax. The show, however was 20/20. The problem was that each time her doctor lowered her dosage so she wouldn't become addicted the withdrawals caused panic attacks worse than the ones she took the pills for, common problem with Xanax, which is why she did interview, so others would not have same problem.
