ROFL!!! There was definately NO dog on Eight is Enough..However, Nicholas had a cat for one episode named "Cat" (She has kittens at the end of the episode)...Wish I could help..LOL

Yep remember Cat from the "Fast & Loose" episode. But at the very end of that episode Nicholas did find a dog and was trying to talk his dad into keeping it. Thats about where the show ended and never saw the dog again so doubt they kept the dog. I'm still wondering what happened to the kittens. Thought David was gonna take one but don't remember seeing Cat or the kittens in the following episodes. I would have taken one of the kittens...LOL

I don't recall the Bradfords owning a dog. They had a cat that had kittens in one episode. And Tom gave Nicholas a plant that turned out to be marijauna. But, I don't recall a dog called Bear. There was a dog on Empty Nest named Dreyfeus who's real name was Bear.
