Sorry, but I could deal with Mary Frann as Abby...but this one was bad. It isn't the same at all with out Betty Buckley. Did anyone else notice that when they were in the basement it looked like the same one on the Cosby show?

It must be nice to celebrate the same birthday twice in your life. Why in the world would would Tom Bradford be celebrating his 50th birthday when in the fourth season he turned the big 5 0 in #80 "Semi Centennial Bradford". Oh well, it was nice they showed it after showing all the seasons.

One thing I could never figure out was how Tom could possibly be turning only 50 in the 1987 movie. If that were the case, he would have been 40 when the series started making him a mere +/- 17 years older than David. Plus, as I recall, there was actually an episode of the original series in which Tom celebrated his 50th b'day. Am I correct? Why wouldn't they just have him celebrating his 60th b'day in the reunion movie?

For the longest time, I've been wondering why Betty Buckley was not a part of the Bradford reunion specials? Was she not invited back because she was "difficult" to work with? or did she decide to pass up that acting opportunity?? It just seems odd...since Abby was such a big part of the show. It just didn't feel the same to see a generic Abby and not Betty...Anyone know more on this???

Does anyone remember the two TV Movies they made as reunions? I remember one was minus Betty Buckley and had Mary Frann in it. But I think they made another one including Buckley. Am I right? I wonder where we can see these. Are they on video? Or maybe the Family Channel aired them sometime? I emailed FX and they said that it was impossible to air them.

What were the jobs of all the kids in the reunion movies? I remember Mary was not a doctor, what was she? I remember Nancy was happily living on a ranch. That's all I can remember....wasn't one a race car driver? Oh sorry, I think that was the Brady Bunch reunion (where Cindy had to sit at the kids table)
