I've been hearing this for the past 8 years since Pat Richardson and Home
Improvement came on the tv scene. Every link to Pat Richardson claims she
was Kay Dunne on Eight is enough. Eight is enough started showing on Pax
awhile back , and they're already on re-runs and I still haven't heard or
      seen any Kay Dunne.

Can you verify there was a Kay Dunne on this show and it was Pat Richardson
? This Kay Dunne character was verified on another show (name eludes me
right now think it was Parent Trap or something like that) Meaning she moved
the character from one sitcom to another (wierd to me) Course Archie Bunker,
Maude, all those other off shoots moved characters around also. But can't
recall ever seeing a sub character moving to another show as a sub
      character..

i think kay dunne is an imaginary character made up by someone who likes patricia
richardson.why would they move such an obscure character into another series? if
she was on eie she was probably cut out for syndication.

The other show Kay Dunne was a character in was Eisenhower & Lutz; but I don't
know how it is supposed to tie in with an EIE character.

Was she played by Patricia Richardson on that show?
